Job summary

M&G is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Accountant in Bath to support the Finance department with financial and management accounting, MI development, and stakeholder reporting. You will work across financial reporting, accounting, budgeting, and regulatory duties while collaborating with the broader Finance teams.

Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant with up to 2 years post-qualification experience.
• Understanding of FCA regulations and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality outputs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review weekly and monthly management information for analysis.
• Liaise with Group MI to provide requested MI and answer queries.
• Prepare monthly management accounts through to final review with commentary.
• Prepare year end statutory accounts and liaise with auditors.
• Produce regulatory returns per FCA RegData system and regulatory needs.
• Provide leadership and support to the Accounting and Analysis team.
