Job summary

Man Group, a London-based global investment management firm, is seeking a Senior Analyst to support regulatory reporting and financial accounting for the Group and its UK subsidiaries. The role focuses on ensuring accuracy and integrity of accounting records, with close collaboration across Treasury, Tax, Group Reporting, Legal and external advisers.

The successful candidate will coordinate regulatory reporting, prepare statutory statements, and contribute to process improvements while mentoring

Qualifications

• Proven experience in regulatory reporting within financial services.
• Strong working knowledge of financial and technical accounting, including local GAAP statutory reporting.
• Experience with balance sheet reconciliations and analytical review.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate monthly, quarterly and annual regulatory reporting activities for the Group's UK subsidiaries and prepare returns.
• Prepare and present updates on regulatory reporting and key KPIs to senior stakeholders.
• Monitor regulatory compliance across the Group's global subsidiaries and escalate issues.
• Perform monthly financial accounting activities and maintain the general ledger with timely reconciliations.
• Prepare local GAAP statutory financial statements and support tax returns.
• Prepare board packs and reporting for legal entities as required.
• Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors to support statutory audits and filings.
• Maintain relationships with Finance teams across the Group to ensure timely flow of information.
• Identify and implement improvements to processes and tooling, including AI where appropriate.
• Provide day-to-day mentoring to junior team members.
• Contribute to wider Financial Control and Reporting projects.
