Job summary

Energy Saving Trust is seeking a Finance Business Analyst on a fixed-term 12-month contract. The role is full-time (37.5 hours a week) with a salary up to £53,000 per annum, depending on experience, in the United Kingdom.

You will work across the finance transformation lifecycle, partnering with Finance, Technology and Digital teams to shape finance capabilities, improve processes, controls and reporting, and support successful implementation and transition.

Qualifications

• Proven Business Analyst experience within a finance transformation programme.
• Experience with internal Finance teams and third-party suppliers/partners.
• Experience of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and other finance/ERP systems.
• Strong knowledge of requirements traceability, process mapping, system integrations and data migration.
• Experience of data quality management, reporting requirements, UAT planning and defect triage.
• Knowledge of financial controls, audit, regulatory and statutory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and improve end-to-end finance processes, systems, controls and data flows.
• Elicit, document and manage business requirements from discovery through design, build, testing and go-live.
• Create functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps and data models.
• Translate requirements between Finance teams, technical colleagues and implementation partners.
• Support finance system configuration, integrations, data migration, cleansing, reconciliation and validation.
• Define and improve financial reporting, management information, data governance and quality standards.
• Plan and support user acceptance testing, test scenarios and defect triage.
• Facilitate workshops and decision-making forums, building strong relationships across the programme.
• Support implementation and a smooth transition into business as usual.
