Job summary

RNLI in Poole is seeking a Senior Finance Systems Product Owner to join the Financial Governance team. You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of the finance platform estate, from design and development through deployment and ongoing operations, supporting the organisation’s 5-Year Plan.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified membership of accounting body (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
• Strong knowledge of finance processes, controls, accounting principles, and regulatory compliance.
• Understanding of charity finance and experience with ERP and cloud finance systems.
• Skilled in requirements analysis and end-to-end finance process design and optimisation.
• Proven leader in finance transformation, technology delivery, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement.
• Experience in managing internal and external suppliers or vendors
• Excellent communication, team building, and negotiation skills
• Knowledge of the Microsoft D365

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end lifecycle of the Finance platform estate, from solution design and development through deployment, adoption, and sustainable operations.
• Lead a team of finance systems and subject matter experts to ensure business requirements are understood, prioritised, and translated into effective solutions.
• Collaborate with ID&S, Strategic Programmes and Delivery Partners to maximise business value in support of the RNLI 2030 plan.
• Deliver enabling technology to support a Service Led Operating Model and readiness of people adopting modern technology/ways of working.
