SystemsAccountants is seeking a Head of Finance System Transformation to lead development, performance and continuous improvement of the finance systems landscape, including ownership of the ERP. You will drive automation, governance and data integrity to support strategic objectives.

Formación

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA or CIPFA or equivalent with strong technical accounting knowledge.
• Significant experience managing finance systems and leading system improvements.
• Skilled in integrations, automation, user stories, test scripts and UAT.
• Proven ability to drive process improvement and lead transformation initiatives.
• Strong communicator able to explain technical concepts and collaborate across departments.
• Focus on innovation, efficiency and strengthening financial control through better systems.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee access controls, licence management and master-data governance across ERP and related systems.
• Manage configuration changes, risk mitigation and audit/compliance requirements.
• Develop and deliver a finance systems roadmap aligned to organisational strategy, identifying automation opportunities.
• Lead system improvement and transformation projects from concept to delivery, including testing and deployment.
• Ensure day-to-day integrity of finance systems and improvements to reporting, budgeting, forecasting and year-end processes.
• Manage other staff to drive efficiency and improvement.
• Build strong relationships across Finance, Technology and operations; liaise with external vendors, consultants and auditors.

The Head of Finance System Transformationwill lead the development, performance and continuous improvement of the organisation’s finance systems landscape. This includes ownership of their ERP and associated finance and income‑related systems. The role is responsible for ensuring systems support operational efficiency, financial control, reporting accuracy and strategic objectives.

Working within the Finance function, the postholder will drive system improvements, automation opportunities and transformation initiatives. They will develop and maintain a systems roadmap, manage supplier relationships, ensure strong governance and data integrity, and collaborate closely with Finance, Technology and operational teams. The role also includes line management of a Finance Systems Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee access controls, permissions, licence management and master‑data governance across ERP and related systems.
• Manage configuration changes, system enhancements, risk mitigation and compliance with audit and financial‑control requirements.
• Develop and deliver a finance systems roadmap aligned to organisational strategy, identifying opportunities for automation, optimisation and improved efficiency.
