National Grid is seeking a Finance Business Partner for the Great Grid Partnership (GGP) in Warwick. You will work closely with the GGP senior leadership to understand complex commercial arrangements and translate them into clear financial insight.

The role involves budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis across a major decarbonisation portfolio. You will communicate with senior leaders, challenge proposals, and drive governance and continuous improvement, including AI-enabled

Qualifications

• This role requires ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent qualification.
• Strong technical accounting and financial modelling skills.
• Experience partnering with senior leaders in a matrix environment.
• Proven ability to forecast, budget and report across multi-project portfolios.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Demonstrated commitment to decarbonisation / Net Zero objectives.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary finance business partner to the GGP senior leadership team.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial performance analysis for central GGP cost base.
• Oversee financial reporting of GGP project spend and provide insights.
• Challenge commercial proposals with robust financial governance.
• Promote continuous improvement and AI-enabled productivity across teams.
