Gi Group UK is advertising on behalf of a prestigious utilities client for a Senior Finance Business Partner to act as the primary finance contact for the Scotland and London regional leadership teams. The role is hands-on, with ownership of planning, forecasting, month-end close, reporting, variance analysis and governance.

The position is Bristol-based with hybrid working (2-3 days in the Bristol office) and occasional travel to London and Edinburgh.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Strong hands-on SAP R/3 experience in a finance environment.

Responsabilités

• Lead planning, forecasting and business partnering for the Scotland and London regions, ensuring timely and evidence-based submissions.
• Deliver accurate monthly management reporting including gross margin, opex, capex and KPIs; own month-end close activities with timely accruals and adjustments.
• Produce legal entity and board reporting packs, support statutory audits and maintain governance with accounting policies.
