Job summary

Grafton Banks Finance Limited is seeking an IFRS Senior Finance Manager (Financial Controller) to lead IFRS reporting for a growing East Sussex business. The role oversees monthly, quarterly and annual reporting to the parent and liaises with US subsidiaries, with a focus on strong technical IFRS knowledge and team leadership.

You will manage a finance team of 5, ensure statutory statements and corporate tax returns are prepared, and participate in board meetings.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified ACA or ACCA with practice training preferred.
• 6+ years post-qualification experience in IFRS reporting and leadership.
• Experience leading monthly, quarterly and year-end reporting.
• Strong IFRS technical accounting knowledge.
• On-site role in East Sussex; London candidates not considered.

** IFRS Senior Finance Manager Opportunity - East Sussex**

£85,000 plus 15% bonus, plus benefits, plus 2 days WFH

Grafton Banks Finance is working with a growing business in East Sussex in their search for a competent and credible Senior Finance Manager (Financial controller) with IFRS experience.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

• Responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual IFRS reporting to parent company in accordance with group instructions.
• Lead the monthly management and board meetings (UK)
• Liaise and report on the US Subsidiaries
• Implementing IFRS across all reporting.
• Manage contact with auditors and banks.
• Prepare statutory annual financial statements, annual corporate tax returns, multi-currency work and forex.
• Lead, mentor and develop a finance team of 5.

The successful candidate will be

• A fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA), ideally with a practice training
• 6 years+ post qualified experience of IFRS reporting and leadership
• Evidence of holding responsibility for monthly accounts, quarterly and year end reporting.
• Able to demonstrate strong core technical accounting knowledge - IFRS
• Happy to be on-site 3 days per week in East Sussex. (London based candidates cannot be considered for this role)
