Job summary

Grafton Banks Finance is exclusively partnering with an international manufacturing business in East Sussex to appoint a Financial Controller with IFRS experience. The role focuses on IFRS reporting to the parent and leading a finance team.

The successful candidate will be ACA/ACCA, with 6+ years of IFRS reporting and leadership, on-site 3 days per week in East Sussex, and a salary of £75-85k plus up to 15% bonus and benefits.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified ACA/ACCA with practice training (ideally).
• 6+ years post-qualified IFRS reporting and leadership experience.
• Experience preparing monthly accounts for SMEs with quarterly and year-end reporting.
• Strong IFRS technical accounting knowledge.
• On-site in East Sussex 3 days per week; UK Right to Work.

Responsibilities

• Monthly, quarterly and annual IFRS reporting to parent company.
• Lead monthly management and UK board meetings.
• Liaise and report on US subsidiaries.
• Implement IFRS across all reporting.
• Manage contact with auditors and banks.
• Prepare statutory annual financial statements and corporate tax returns; multi-currency and forex.
• Lead, mentor and develop a finance team of 4.
