Job summary

Workforce Recruitment and Training in Cheltenham is seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager to lead a small finance team and partner with operational leaders. You will own monthly management accounts, cash flow planning and reporting, and contribute to commercial decisions to drive profitability.

You will oversee month-end and year-end processes, support budgeting and forecasts, and help shape financial controls and systems across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Senior finance or financial management experience in a multi-site environment.
• Strong management accounting and financial control knowledge.
• Confident in cash flow, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Experience leading or developing a finance team.
• Commercially aware with ability to communicate to non-finance stakeholders.
• Experience with NetSuite and advanced Excel.

• Produce monthly management accounts and financial reporting.
• Oversee month-end and year-end processes with accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage cash flow, budgets, forecasts and working capital.
• Lead, motivate and develop a finance team.
• Collaborate with operations to understand financial performance and drive profitability.
• Provide financial insight to support pricing, expansions and decisions.
• Review and improve finance processes, reporting systems and internal controls.
• Support the Group Finance Director with planning and wider objectives.
