The Role

This role is part of our Commercial Finance team, who are responsible for financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and cost management for both PRS and Joint Venture revenue. This roleacts as key strategic and financial business partner to the Executive Leadership Team, ensuring decisions regarding costs align with financial and strategic goals, and is responsible for delivery of the annual budget, quarterly forecasts and MPR. The role has 2 direct reports, and reports directly into the Director of Commercial Finance

This is a 12 month fixed-term contract (maternity cover).


Responsibilities

As our Senior Finance Manager Costs & Reporting, you will…

  • Support the Director of Commercial Finance with the annual timeline planning for report, forecasting and budgeting. Support the Governance team for Board dates and submissions of financial documents.
  • Act as a key and trusted financial and strategic business partner to the Executive Leadership team.
  • Influence key decision makers and drives key strategic decisions across the business, using insight and analysis to make financial based recommendations, Challenge stakeholders where required.
  • Proactively identify business and market insights to inform decision making around cost.
  • Prepare & consolidate the final annual budget for Board approval.
  • Lead the quarterly reforecast of revenue and costs process, including ensuring latest best estimate of the year end results reflects the latest quarterly forecast and material events or knowledge that have occurred or emerged since the date of finalisation.
  • Coordinate the production of the MPR and Extended MPR suite of reports & other routine management information to Executive and Senior Team and Board.
  • Motivate, engage and develop a team of two.

The Process


Our interview process for this role is simple:

  • First stage interview will take place virtually on MS Teams.

  • Second stage interview will take place in person at our London Bridge Hub.

Location

We offer a hybrid working model, allowing employees to work from home up to three days a week.
