Job summary

Four Squared Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager for a technology-led manufacturing business. You will lead robust financial reporting, strengthening controls, and drive commercial decision-making in a dynamic, growth-focused environment.

The role offers broad exposure to operational and strategic finance, working with ERP systems such as Epicor or Microsoft Dynamics, and overseeing multi-currency accounting in a global context.

Qualifications

• ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualification required.
• Experience in a Finance Manager or Senior Finance position.
• Strong management reporting and financial analysis skills.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Epicor or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Manufacturing sector experience and multi-currency accounting.
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to meet deadlines with a proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and group reporting.
• Produce P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow reporting.
• Budget variance analysis and KPI reporting.
• Support forecasting and annual budgeting processes.
• Provide financial insight to support commercial and operational decisions.
• Prepare and submit statutory returns including VAT and other taxes.
• Balance sheet reconciliations including intercompany transactions.
• Payroll and pension administration through outsourced providers.
• P11D and P60 reporting.
• Support process improvements and strengthen financial controls.
• Assist with wider finance projects and business initiatives.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and commercially minded Senior Finance Manager to join a growing, technology-led manufacturing business operating in highly specialised and demanding markets.

This role is ideal for a qualified finance professional who enjoys working in a dynamic environment, influencing business decisions, improving processes, and supporting a business through periods of growth and change.

Working closely with the Financial Controller and wider leadership team, you will play a key role in ensuring robust financial reporting, strengthening controls, supporting commercial decision-making, and driving continuous improvement across the finance function.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly management accounts and group reporting
• Production of Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow reporting
• Budget variance analysis and KPI reporting

About You

We're looking for a finance professional who combines strong technical accounting skills with a proactive and hands‑on approach.

You will ideally have:

• ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualification
• Previous experience in a Finance Manager or Senior Finance position
• Strong management reporting and financial analysis skills
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities
• A flexible, adaptable, and solutions-focused mindset
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• Experience working with ERP systems
• Manufacturing sector experience
• Multi-currency accounting experience
• Experience using Epicor and/or Microsoft Dynamics
• Experience supporting businesses through change or transformation
