Legal & General in Cardiff is seeking an experienced Senior Finance Analyst to join the Finance Reporting & Analytics team. You will deliver high-quality reporting, analytics and data visualisation solutions to support informed decision-making across Finance and the wider business.

You will work with Tableau and Power BI, explore AI-enabled tools like Copilot, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable insights, driving efficiency and data governance.

Qualifications

• Strong Tableau dashboard development experience.
• Proficient SQL and handling large datasets.
• Experience with Power BI reports and visuals.
• Analytical thinker with requirements gathering skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Familiar with AI tools such as Copilot or generative AI.
• Understanding of data governance and reporting quality.
• Experience in financial services or asset management.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Tableau dashboards and strategic reporting.
• Enhance and optimise reporting across Finance and the wider business.
• Develop and maintain Power BI reports and visuals where required.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into analytics solutions.
• Analyse large datasets to produce clear, actionable insights.
• Support data quality, governance, certification and access-control processes.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting and improve efficiency.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools to enhance reporting and insights.
