Job summary

Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM) is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst in Cardiff to join the Finance Reporting & Analytics team. You will design and maintain Tableau dashboards, enhance finance reporting, and partner with stakeholders to deliver actionable insights across the business.

The role involves building Power BI visuals, exploring AI-enabled tools, and driving data quality and governance to enable informed decision-making.

Qualifications

• Strong hands‑on experience of developing dashboards and reporting solutions in Tableau
• Good SQL skills and experience working with large or complex datasets
• Experience of creating reports and visualisations using Power BI
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and business‑requirements gathering capabilities
• Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience of using or exploring AI-enabled tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Power BI Copilot, Tableau Pulse or generative AI solutions
• An understanding of reporting governance, data quality and visualisation best practice
• Experience within financial services, asset management or a Finance function, or with automation tools such as Power Automate, Alteryx or Python

Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Finance Analyst to join our Finance Reporting & Analytics team. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality reporting, analytics and data visualisation solutions that support informed decision‑making across Finance and the wider business.

You’ll work with modern platforms including Tableau and Power BI, while exploring how AI-enabled tools such as Microsoft Copilot can improve reporting, automate processes and generate deeper insights.
