Senior Finance Business Partner – Retail/FMCG Sector

London / Hybrid

Alexander Lloyd Senior Finance are delighted to be partnering a high growth, market leading FMCG/Retail organisation. They are looking to appoint a commercially astute Senior Finance Business Partner, this is a key strategic role acting as the link between finance and sales & operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with senior stakeholders to provide financial insights, challenge assumptions, and drive commercial decisions.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes across multiple retail channels.
• Analyse performance, customer behaviour, and margin trends to inform strategic actions.
• Support pricing, promotional planning with robust financial modelling.
• Present findings to senior stakeholders, supporting board-level decision making.
• Drive continuous improvement across financial processes and reporting tools.

Required Experience & Skills:

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with PQE and a strong commercial finance background.
• Proven experience as a Finance Business Partner in a retail or FMCG environment.
• Strong analytical and Excel modelling skills; experience with BI tools a plus (e.g. Power BI, Tableau).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Comfortable working at pace and influencing decisions across operations and strategy.
