Interim Senior Finance Business Partner – Retail/FMCG Sector

6 Month FTC

London / Hybrid

Alexander Lloyd Senior Finance is partnering with a high-growth, market-leading FMCG/Retail organization. They are looking to appoint a commercially astute Senior Finance Business Partner initially on a 6-month FTC. This is a key strategic role acting as the link between finance and sales & operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Partner with senior stakeholders to provide financial insights, challenge assumptions, and drive commercial decisions.
2. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes across multiple retail channels.
3. Analyze performance, customer behavior, and margin trends to inform strategic actions.
4. Support pricing and promotional planning with robust financial modeling.
5. Present findings to senior stakeholders, supporting board-level decision-making.
6. Drive continuous improvement across financial processes and reporting tools.

Required Experience & Skills:

1. Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with PQE and a strong commercial finance background.
2. Available to start ASAP.
3. Experience partnering with US Markets and stakeholders (preferred).
4. Proven experience as a Finance Business Partner in a retail or FMCG environment.
5. Strong analytical and Excel modeling skills; experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
6. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
7. Comfortable working at pace and influencing decisions across operations and strategy.
