A versatile Finance Assistant is needed to support the Accounting & Finance department of a well-established Industrial/Manufacturing company in Livingston. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have a strong understanding of finance concepts, and thrive in a team-oriented environment.

Description
· Credit control to chase overdue debts
· Manage increases in customer credit limits
· Support AP assistant on cash available for weekly payment runs and Currency transfers.
· Update weekly cashflow
· Support on UK Bank reconciliations
· Support the monthly VAT return process
· Support on payroll processing
· Processing monthly expenses and reconciling credit card
· Maintain company car information for P11d's and provide P11d information to outsourcing payroll provider
· Invoice processing to cover annual leave
· Matching and reconciling of GRNI
· Posting the bank statements on a weekly basis
· Working on the Aged Debt and chasing any outstanding debts
· Processing monthly journals
· Working on and supporting the accounting process
· Liaising with employees on invoicing and expenses
· Assisting on the payroll process
· Assisting on the statutory audits
· Preparing Group Accounts Receivable reporting at month end
· Project based support as and when required from Group Financial Controller and Finance Director.
