Job summary

Leidos seeks a Senior Finance Analyst to join the UK team in Bristol (hybrid; 1–2 days work from home). You will manage forecasts, EACs and financial reporting across the LCST programme, providing business partnering and insightful financial challenge to drive value for UK Defence initiatives.

The role requires strong Excel, Power BI and stakeholder management, with responsibility for a direct report and continuous improvement of reporting tools within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong financial and commercial acumen with forecasting and performance analysis experience.
• Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights for decision-making.
• Ownership of forecasts, reporting cycles and deliverables with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary finance point of contact for expenditure; lead forecasting process and deliver forecasts.
• Lead Estimates at Completion (EAC) preparation and variance analysis.
• Act as a Finance Business Partner, providing financial challenge and recommendations.
• Collaborate with operational stakeholders to reflect activity in financial results and forecasts.
• Review financial information from subcontractors before reporting.
• Develop and present performance metrics and management information.
• Respond to customer financial queries and support inventory audits.
• Drive standardisation and continuous improvement across the Finance team.
• Lead development of financial reporting tools, including Power BI dashboards.
• Provide line management and development to one direct report.
