Job summary

Leidos in the UK is seeking a Business Operations Advisor to join the LCST programme in Bristol, with occasional UK travel to other offices. The role provides expert advice on Defence supply chain systems, drives improvements and supports service excellence across LCST and related governance meetings.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in supply chain, logistics or operations.
• Stakeholder engagement and customer relationship management.
• Strong written and verbal communications with ability to influence.
• Solving complex problems across multiple organisations.
• Possess a UK driving licence and prepared to travel within the UK.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Operations Director at senior leadership meetings and coordinate Directorate tasking.
• Investigate complex LCST and Defence Supply Chain integration issues, identifying root causes and practical solutions.
• Lead deep-dive reviews and priority workstreams across LCST and the wider Defence Supply Chain.
• Project manage responses to strategic initiatives and customer requirements from scoping to BAU handover.
• Review Statements of Requirement and change proposals with SME input to ensure delivery.
• Contribute to logistics delivery and governance meetings, engaging stakeholders to achieve targets.
• Evaluate processes, identify best practice and challenge activities affecting LCST performance.
• Lead the design and delivery of Directorate strategy and leadership events.
• Coordinate Directorate operational risk management and escalation.
• Identify, develop and deliver new business opportunities aligned with priorities.
• Manage delivery of the Operations Directorate Cognitive Command Centre to Full Operational Capability.
