Job summary

Leidos UK is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to join the Bristol team working on the LCST programme for UK Defence. The role blends financial planning, forecasting and management reporting with strong business partnering across operations and subcontractors.

You will develop BI dashboards (Power BI), produce EACs, budgets and rolling forecasts, and provide financial insight to drive decision-making in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong financial planning, forecasting and performance analysis experience.
• Ability to translate financial data into meaningful insights for decision-making.
• Ownership of forecasts, reporting cycles and deadlines with accuracy.
• Strong finance business partnering with senior stakeholders.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and data presentation ability.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary finance contact for services expenditure, leading monthly/quarterly forecasting and delivering in-year and future forecasts.
• Lead Estimates at Completion (EAC) preparation with variance analysis against budgets.
• Act as a Finance Business Partner to provide financial insight and recommendations.
• Partner with operational stakeholders to reflect activity in financial results and forecasts.
• Review financial data from subcontractors before inclusion in reporting.
• Develop and present performance metrics and management information to leadership.
• Respond to customer financial queries and support inventory audit requirements.
• Drive standardisation and continuous improvement across the finance team.
• Lead development of BI reporting tools and dashboards; mentor a direct report.
