Zusammenfassung

Penguin is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to lead discovery and analysis for the File Management project. You will blend data insights with business engagement to map current structures, identify changes, and define practical future ways of working, producing clear migration plans and recommendations.

You’ll collaborate with Project Management, Continuous Improvement, Communications and Digital Training to support discovery, decision-making, migration and adoption across the organisation.

Qualifikationen

• Significant experience as a Business Analyst or similar analytical/change role.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving with large datasets.
• Experience leading business process discovery across teams.
• Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder interviewing.
• Experience mapping current and future processes.
• Ability to combine quantitative data with qualitative insights.
• Experience working on technology-enabled change with delivery teams.
• Comfort working with ambiguity and driving practical decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Aufgaben

• Analyse file storage data to derive insights, volumes, usage, and duplication patterns.
• Lead discovery workshops and interviews across business teams to map current structures and ownership.
• Identify opportunities to simplify file management and improve organization and sharing.
• Investigate business processes, file types, and dependencies affecting migration.
• Define practical future ways of working, including structures, permissions and naming conventions.
• Translate findings into recommendations on retention, archiving, deletion or migration; assess readiness and complexity.
• Produce evidence-based analyses to support prioritisation and phased rollout.
• Collaborate with Transformation, Strategic Projects and Technology to support implementation.
