Job summary

Ingersoll-Rand plc is looking for an experienced Compressed Air Field Service Engineer to join their team in Preston. The role involves maintenance, breakdown repair, and commissioning of compressed air equipment, covering the north west of England with potential overnight stays.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum HNC qualification and at least 5 years of experience in the compressed air industry. The position includes benefits such as 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, a company vehicle, and an employee ownership program.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the compressed air industry.
• Must have a full driving license.
• Ability to work alone and exhibit good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Perform breakdown repairs on compressed air equipment.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on air generating equipment.
• Maintain professional communication with customers.
