Summary

Hexagon is looking for an accomplished Field Marketing and Communications Manager to lead our marketing strategy in the UK, with a particular emphasis on demand generation. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your extensive expertise in digital marketing and event management within a 360-marketing framework to develop and implement strategies that elevate brand visibility and drive lead generation.

This role involves working closely with both local and global teams to ensure alignment and consistency in marketing efforts. You will be responsible for developing and executing innovative marketing campaigns that resonate with our target audiences and deliver measurable results. By integrating data-driven insights and best practices, you will optimise marketing initiatives to effectively convert prospects and drive pipeline growth.

You will also manage a range of dynamic projects, from digital advertising campaigns to high-profile industry events, ensuring each initiative is strategically aligned with Hexagon’s business objectives. Your role will also involve building and sustaining strong relationships with key suppliers and partners to enhance the execution and impact of marketing activities.

Job Responsibilities

Reporting to the Marketing Director for EMEA North, you will be responsible for the following key activities:

  • Demand Generation: Drive high-impact demand generation strategies that capture and nurture potential clients at every stage of the sales funnel. Utilise a diverse mix of digital channels, content marketing, and targeted events to optimise pipeline growth.
  • Integrated Campaign Development: Lead the creation and implementation of integrated marketing campaigns that align with Hexagon’s strategic goals. Coordinate multi-channel efforts, including digital advertising, social media, webinars, and live events, to enhance brand visibility and market reach.
  • Event Management and Execution: Plan, organise, and manage events that position Hexagon as a thought leader in the industry.
  • Analytical Performance Management: Implement a robust framework for tracking and analysing campaign performance. Utilise data analytics tools to assess the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, present insightful metrics, and adapt strategies to maximise return on investment (ROI).
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product management, and global marketing, to ensure alignment and consistency across all marketing efforts. Act as a bridge to integrate regional strategies within the global marketing framework.
  • Vendor and Partner Relationship: Manage relationships with external vendors, and partners to facilitate the seamless execution of marketing campaigns.
  • Content Development: Create strategic content that resonates with target audiences and support campaign objectives.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage marketing budgets effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources across campaigns and maintaining financial accountability.
  • Innovation and Trends: Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and tools to continuously enhance marketing efforts.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, reflecting a strong academic foundation in marketing principles and strategies.
  • A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in marketing roles with a proven track record in leading and executing integrated marketing campaigns focused on demand generation and pipeline development.
  • Expertise in B2B marketing and familiarity in using marketing automation tools such as Pardot and Salesforce. Capable of designing and implementing automated marketing workflows, lead segmentation, and nurturing programs to optimise lead conversion rates.
  • Experience in planning, executing, and optimising Google Ads campaigns. Ability to strategically manage online advertising budgets to maximise reach and engagement across target markets.
  • Proven ability to leverage social media platforms to drive brand awareness and engage with audiences. Experience in creating compelling social media content and using analytics to measure and enhance campaign performance.
  • Knowledge in Unbounce for creating high-converting landing pages and conducting A/B testing. Comfortable utilising Google Analytics to track campaign metrics, analyse user behaviour, and obtain actionable insights that inform strategic decisions.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to measure marketing effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and verbal. Proficiency in additional European languages is an advantage.
