Kwik Fit in the UK is seeking an experienced Senior Field Technician to join our expert field team, supporting centres across the country with advanced diagnostics and specialist repair work.

This high-impact, hands-on role covers ICE, hybrid and EV systems, requires independent problem-solving, a confident communicator, and a passion for developing others while travelling to centres and ensuring customer safety.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise across ICE, hybrid, and EV systems.
• Advanced fault-finding and diagnostic capability.
• Comfortable using specialist tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Able to work independently and manage workload.
• Confident communicator translating technical issues clearly.
• Passionate about developing others.
• Committed to health, safety, and high workmanship standards.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Respond to urgent and planned field callouts.
• Deliver on-site diagnosis, repair and validation including road testing.
• Provide rectification backup to support customer experience.
• Coach and develop others; mentor technicians across the network.
• Lead technical excellence with field experience.
• Carry out advanced diagnostics across mechanical and electrical systems.
• Resolve complex faults with precision.
• Support EV and hybrid safety compliance.
• Build confidence and technical capability within centres.
