Job summary

ABM Facility Services UK is recruiting a Senior Supervisor for a high-profile client in the Durham area to lead janitorial and waste management operations. You will support the Site Operations Manager, manage rosters, payroll and staffing, and ensure compliance with budgets, KPIs, and health and safety standards.

You will guide up to 70 site team members across a 24/7 operation, promote ABM brand, and deliver professional service through effective communication and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Significant supervisory/managerial experience.
• IT literate with MS Office.
• Experience in janitorial and waste removal services.
• Flexible and proactive to working in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high standards of housekeeping and waste removal.
• Support the Site Operations Manager with contract delivery and budget adherence.
• Oversee payroll, rosters and manning levels for site team members.
• Lead recruitment, induction, training and retention of staff.
• Manage audits and KPI/SLA reporting and GDPR compliance.
• Promote ABM brand through professional service and communication.
