ABM Industries in Belfast is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead the safe, compliant, and cost-effective delivery of hard FM and utilities services across designated sites. You will oversee PPM, reactive maintenance, budget management and performance reporting, while guiding engineering teams and contractors to deliver high standards of service.

Qualifications

• Five years in technical FM, engineering or utilities operations with demonstrable people leadership in industrial/critical/regulatory environments.
• Strong understanding of PPM, reactive maintenance, statutory compliance, PTW, safe systems of work and CAFM.
• Experience in budgets, purchasing, quotation review, financial control and use of Microsoft 365 applications.
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills; full driving licence; able to work across sites and support out-of-hours escalation as required.

Responsabilités

• Lead hard FM and utilities delivery across assigned Belfast sites, including PPM, reactive maintenance and statutory compliance.
• Direct engineering teams and contractors, coordinate shutdowns and remedials, improve asset reliability and service performance.
• Maintain safety controls (PTW, RAMS, isolations) and audits; manage risk registers and corrective actions.
• Lead site incident response, support business continuity and provide concise performance reports.
• Develop and manage site teams, set standards for performance, conduct and attendance; manage staffing and cover.
• Act as ABM operational contact for sites; review performance, risks and priorities with stakeholders.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, purchasing and financial controls; provide cost and risk information.
• Challenge supplier performance and drive value-for-money through change control.
• Ensure site appearance via regular audits; escalate issues to Soft Services Manager when needed.
• Undertake quality audits of soft services and track corrective actions.
