Job summary

Matchtech are seeking an Experienced Hard Services Manager to lead compliance and maintenance within a high-tech manufacturing environment in the UK. The role requires hands-on knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems and proven ability to manage complex facilities portfolios.

You will oversee LEV, fire safety, legionella programs, coordinate with contractors, and drive proactive maintenance while keeping rigorous records and stakeholder communications.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in hard services management within complex facilities.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience with permitting and high-risk work like work at height.
• Proven record-keeping and compliance management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee compliance activities for LEV, fire safety, and legionella.
• Review and drive remedial actions on heating and chilled water systems.
• Assist with project planning and asset replacement scheduling.
• Support process and procedure capability development.
• Manage contractors and vendor relationships.
• Issue permits for high-risk activities and manage permits.
