Job summary

Motion Applied is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to lead UK factory and head office operations, ensuring safe, compliant and efficient workplaces across sites in Surrey area. The role covers hard and soft FM services, contractor oversight, and continuous improvement in HSE and facilities standards.

You will administer the BMS, manage energy usage, oversee asset management, and drive improvements in safety culture while coordinating with Production, Quality, EHS, and IT/OT teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar role covering FM and HSE responsibilities.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to design and implement policies, procedures and risk assessments.
• Experience managing budgets, contracts and compliance reporting.
• Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with commitment to service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee building maintenance, lifecycle, and grounds.
• Administer BMS strategy, alarms, schedules and energy data analysis.
• Maintain asset register, technical files, O&M manuals and drawings.
• Ensure legal compliance, audits, licenses and registrations.
• Lead HSE activities, risk assessments and COSHH compliance.
• Manage budgets, contracts, SLAs and vendor performance.
• Develop competency matrices and lead cross-functional teams.
