Job summary

Matchtech is seeking an experienced Hard Services Manager to lead compliance and engineering support in a complex manufacturing facility in the West of England. The role focuses on LEV, fire safety, legionella, and ensuring continuous development.

You will review building systems, manage high-risk permits, support project planning, and drive proactive maintenance through asset replacement scheduling. Strong communication with stakeholders is essential to success.

Qualifications

• Experience as Hard Services Manager in manufacturing facilities.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience issuing permits for high-risk activities.
• R&D or Advanced Manufacturing Building experience.
• Record keeping experience.
• Excellent communication & stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Support Compliance Activities - LEV, fire safety, legionella; assess current stage and drive continuous development.
• Review heating and chilled water systems; drive remedial actions to completion.
• Support project planning activities as needed.
• Asset replacement schedule to move to proactive maintenance.
• Support process and procedure capability development.
• Contractor/vendor management.
• Management of work permits for high-risk work.
