Job summary

Facade Today is seeking a technically proficient Technical Design Manager / Senior Façades Designer to lead the design and coordination of high-rise recladding projects from our Potters Bar office. You will manage the façade design process, review detailed designs in AutoCAD, and coordinate rainscreen systems, EWI, brick slips and curtain walling.

You will mentor and develop the design team, coordinate with architects, engineers and subcontractors, and ensure builds comply with Building

Qualifications

• Experience in high-rise recladding projects.
• Experience coordinating BSR submissions and building-safety compliance.
• Strong understanding of façade interfaces, detailing and buildability.

Responsibilities

• Manage façade design process across high-rise recladding projects.
• Produce and review detailed façade designs using AutoCAD.
• Coordinate rainscreen cladding, EWI, brick slips, decking, curtain walling and windows.
• Support BSR submissions with required documentation.
• Lead and develop Design Team members and mentor junior staff.
• Review drawings from internal and external designers for clashes and coordination issues.
• Coordinate with architects, façade consultants, engineers, manufacturers and subcontractors.
• Ensure designs are buildable, compliant and meet project specs.
