Job summary

Hill McGlynn Recruitment is seeking a Technical / Design Manager for its client, a specialist contractor in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire. You will oversee the technical and design process for high-rise recladding projects, ensuring coordination across architects, façade consultants and engineers to deliver compliant design information.

The role focuses on managing design programmes, supporting Building Safety Regulator submissions, and delivering projects from developed design through construction

Qualifications

• Experience managing high-rise recladding projects.
• Experience coordinating Building Safety Regulator submissions.
• Strong understanding of Building Regulations and project specs.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and technical management from developed design through handover.
• Coordinate design teams including architects, façade consultants and engineers.
• Prepare and coordinate BSR submissions and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure design information aligns with project delivery programmes.
• Chair design and technical meetings and manage RFIs and changes.
• Maintain accurate technical records throughout the lifecycle.
