Job summary

Facade Today is seeking a Senior Designer to lead the design of façade, cladding and curtain walling on diverse projects. You will drive technical delivery through RIBA Stages 4 and 5, coordinating with Architects, Consultants and Contractors to meet programme and client expectations.

The role requires strong communication, coordination and leadership skills, with experience in complex façade interfaces and regulatory compliance, including Building Safety Act considerations.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in façade, cladding and curtain walling design.
• Strong understanding of façade interfaces, detailing and building envelope design.
• Proven track record leading façade design packages through technical design, coordination and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and technical delivery of façade, cladding and curtain walling packages through Stages 4 and 5.
• Coordinate design quality, programme, and client expectations.
• Develop detailed design information, fabrication drawings and construction details.
• Manage interface coordination between façade systems and the building structure.
• Coordinate with Architects, Façade Consultants, contractors and suppliers.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to design standards.
