Job summary

Hill McGlynn Recruitment are working with an established specialist façade contractor to appoint a Technical Design Manager / Senior Façades Designer based from Potters Bar, Hertfordshire. You will lead the design and technical coordination of façade and recladding projects, guiding the design team and ensuring delivery to buildability and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High-rise recladding knowledge and façade systems.
• Experience coordinating BSR submissions.
• Strong AutoCAD detailing skills.
• Mentoring design team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead façade design across high-rise recladding projects.
• Produce and review detailed façade designs in AutoCAD.
• Coordinate rainscreen cladding, EWI, brick slips, decking, curtain walling and windows.
• Support preparation, coordination and delivery of BSR submissions.
• Manage and mentor members of the Design Team.
• Review drawings for clashes and coordination issues.
• Attend design, client and project meetings.
