Job summary

Skilled Careers is seeking a Facade Engineer / Senior Facade Engineer in London to design and coordinate building envelope solutions. You will work with architects, engineers and specialists to deliver high-performance facade systems across a diverse project portfolio.

The role offers hybrid working, a chance to lead packages for experienced candidates and opportunities for technical growth within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

Degree in civil/structural/architectural or facade engineering.
Experience in facade engineering or building envelope design.
Knowledge of UK building regulations and facade performance requirements.
Strong analytical, communication and teamwork skills.
Experience leading facade design from concept to construction (Senior).

Responsibilities

Develop facade design from concept to construction across projects.
Coordinate with architects, structural and services teams.
Assess performance, feasibility and buildability of facade systems.
Review submissions from contractors and suppliers.
Support client relationships and design reviews.
Senior: lead facade design packages and guide junior engineers.
