Job summary

Archi-Tech Network in London seeks a facade engineer to join our design team on high-profile projects, delivering technical support, analysis, and design advice.

You will collaborate with architects, clients, and consultants, produce sketches, system designs, calculations, and reports, and perform site inspections to ensure quality and performance, while contributing to internal reviews and R&D efforts.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or architectural engineering.
• 3+ years in façade design, detailing and analysis.
• Strong understanding of building performance and science.
• Experience providing technical analysis, calculations, and evaluations of system designs.
• Experience developing detailed drawings for curtain wall or façade systems.
• Proficiency in Strand7, AutoCAD, and Rhino.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, collaborative, able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Determine optimal façade design with client and project team.
• Produce sketches, system design development, technical reports, calculations, and specifications.
• Perform site inspections and review mock-ups; prepare technical reports.
• Represent company at workshops; manage client relationships.
• Quality assurance reviews of work.
• Contribute to internal R&D initiatives.
