Job summary

Methods Analytics (MA) is seeking a Senior Fabric Engineer to join our Public Sector team on a permanent basis. The role is mainly remote with travel to client sites and offices in London, Sheffield, and Bristol.

You will translate complex data concepts for non-technical audiences and deliver end-to-end data solutions using Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, and Power BI. You will design ETL/ELT pipelines, develop dimensional data models, implement data governance, and drive data

Responsibilities

• Work with cross-functional teams to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to transform data into actionable insights.
• Build end-to-end data solutions using Fabric, Azure, Databricks, and Power BI.
• Design and implement efficient ETL and ELT pipelines across data sources.
• Develop and maintain data models using dimensional modelling techniques.
• Uphold data governance, security, and compliance with Purview/Atlas catalogs.
• Ensure data quality with QA and optimise queries for cost and performance.
• Create intuitive Power BI dashboards for stakeholders.
• Monitor and tune performance of data systems.
• Stay updated with industry trends and new data engineering tools.
