Job summary

Methods Analytics (MA) is recruiting a Data Engineer to join our Public Sector team on a permanent basis. The role is mainly remote with travel to client sites and offices in London, Sheffield and Bristol. Salary ranges from £60k to £75k.

You will work with cross-functional teams to turn data into insights, build end-to-end data solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Databricks, and develop Power BI dashboards for stakeholders.

Qualifications

Proficient in SQL and Python for data problem solving.
Experience with Data Lakehouse concepts and modern data platforms.
Hands-on with Spark-based solutions (Azure Synapse, Databricks).
Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines in Azure environments.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical specs.

Responsibilities
