Job summary

Methods Analytics (MA) is recruiting a Data Engineer to join our Public Sector team on a permanent basis. The role is mainly remote with travel to client sites and offices in London, Sheffield and Bristol. Salary ranges from £60k to £75k.

You will work with cross-functional teams to turn data into insights, build end-to-end data solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Databricks, and develop Power BI dashboards for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proficient in SQL and Python for data problem solving.
• Experience with Data Lakehouse concepts and modern data platforms.
• Hands-on with Spark-based solutions (Azure Synapse, Databricks).
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines in Azure environments.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specs.
