Job summary

Tenth Revolution Group is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to stabilise and design foundations for a future Microsoft Fabric platform on a 6-month remote contract. The role focuses on data integration, large SQL datasets and ETL across regulated environments, with a strong emphasis on delivering clear plans and stakeholder communication.

Ideal candidates will have Azure Data Factory/Synapse exposure, and experience migrating to Fabric, with a proven ability to support reporting platforms such as

Qualifications

• Strong Data Engineering experience in Azure environments.
• Fabric experience or migration exposure.
• Strong SQL skills with large databases.
• ETL design, development and troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting reporting platforms (SSRS).
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication.
• Experience in regulated environments is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve data extraction and synchronisation issues across business-critical systems.
• Restore confidence in reporting and data availability for operational teams.
• Work with large SQL-based datasets and ETL processes.
• Support reporting requirements and improve data accessibility.
• Define realistic timelines, dependencies and delivery plans.
• Contribute to the longer-term migration towards Microsoft Fabric.
• Engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to communicate progress and risks.
