Real Staffing Group is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design and build data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric for a greenfield project in Berkshire. The contract role spans 3-6 months with 2-3 days onsite per week and Outside IR35 terms.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record delivering Microsoft Fabric implementations and can shape data platforms, integration processes, and data models while collaborating with business and technical stakeholders across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Strong Data Engineer with hands-on experience
• Proven track record delivering Microsoft Fabric implementations
• Experience building data platforms and data warehouses from scratch
• Strong knowledge of data integration, ETL/ELT, and modern data architectures
• Experience working with Azure data technologies
• Ability to work independently within a greenfield environment
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Design and build data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric
• Support the end-to-end implementation of a new enterprise data platform
• Develop and optimise data models, integration processes, and data flows
• Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand data requirements
• Establish data engineering best practices and standards
• Support the creation of scalable reporting and analytics capabilities
• Contribute to the overall data architecture and platform strategy
