Job summary

Tenth Revolution Group is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to stabilise and design foundations for a future Microsoft Fabric platform on a 6-month remote contract. The role focuses on data integration, large SQL datasets and ETL across regulated environments, with a strong emphasis on delivering clear plans and stakeholder communication.

Ideal candidates will have Azure Data Factory/Synapse exposure, and experience migrating to Fabric, with a proven ability to support reporting platforms such as

Qualifications

• Strong Data Engineering experience in Azure environments.
• Fabric experience or migration exposure.
• Strong SQL skills with large databases.
• ETL design, development and troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting reporting platforms (SSRS).
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication.
• Experience in regulated environments is highly desirable.

Senior Data Engineer (Microsoft Fabric) - 6 Month Contract - Outside IR35

Location: Fully Remote
Contract Length: 6 Months
Rate: £300-£450 per day (Outside IR35)

A consultancy partner is supporting a well-established pensions organisation at the start of a major two-year data transformation programme and is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to help stabilise their current environment while laying the foundations for a future Microsoft Fabric platform. ideally you need to have pensions or insurance experience.

This is a hands‑on role for an experienced engineer who can quickly assess an existing data estate, resolve data integration challenges and provide clear delivery plans to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex data integration issues

• Experience working in regulated environments is highly desirable

• Financial Services, Insurance or Pensions sector experience


• Experience modernising legacy data platforms


• Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks or similar Microsoft data technologies
