Job summary

Nobu Hotel London Portman Square is seeking an Events Operations Supervisor to lead event service teams and coordinate the delivery of meetings, conferences, private dining, and special events across our ballroom and meeting spaces.

You will be on the floor as a visible leader, briefing teams, maintaining high service standards, and collaborating with kitchen, sales and operations to ensure flawless guest experiences from setup through breakdown.

Qualifications

• Experience in meetings and events, banqueting or F&B operations.
• Ability to lead teams in a busy luxury environment.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Calm under pressure with strong guest service focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead event service teams to deliver exceptional service standards.
• Coordinate event set-up, execution and breakdown as planned.
• Build relationships with clients, organisers and guests to create memorable experiences.
• Oversee all aspects of event operations ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with kitchen, sales and operations for seamless delivery.
• Manage last-minute changes with professionalism and maintain service standards.
• Support training and development of colleagues to build a high-performing team.
• Conduct briefings and maintain cross-department communication.
• Monitor service quality and guest satisfaction throughout events.
• Ensure health, safety and compliance standards are met.
