Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL, on behalf of a client, seeks a Senior Estimator to prepare tenders for earthworks and civil projects, producing first-principles estimates for labour, plant and materials.

The role supports tender adjudications and handovers; candidates should have civil engineering contracting experience and strong estimating credentials. Predominantly remote with occasional site visits.

Qualifications

• Civil engineering contracting experience is essential.
• Strong estimating / first-principles pricing experience.
• Earthworks experience would be highly beneficial.
• Experience with Causeway would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare competitive tenders for earthworks and civil engineering projects.
• Produce first-principles estimates for labour, plant and materials.
• Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
• Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Identifying risk, opportunities and value engineering solutions.
• Supporting tender adjudications and project handovers.
