Job summary

Willmott Dixon is recruiting a Senior Estimator for the North East region, based at Gateshead three days per week and two days from home. The role leads the estimating process for multiple projects valued from £10m to £90m, supporting procurement strategy and ensuring compliance with customer requirements, scope and legislation.

You will mentor the estimating team, share knowledge, and collaborate with preconstruction, supply chain and design colleagues to deliver accurate net costs on time with

Qualifications

• Good numeracy skills and strong written and spoken English.
• HNC/HND/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or Civil Engineering
• Minimum relevant level 4 qualification (HNC/NVQ4 etc).

Responsibilities

• Calculate build costs for multiple projects and lead the estimating process through to contract award.
• Mentor and develop estimating team while collaborating with preconstruction, supply chain and design colleagues.
