Job summary

Willmott Dixon in Bristol is seeking a Senior Estimator to join our Wales & West pre-construction team. The role combines estimating leadership with Tender and cost planning, while supporting hybrid working with one day per week from home.

You will price trades from first principles, lead the supply chain enquiry process, prepare cost plans, and contribute to whole life costing and waste management plans for projects.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering tenders for multiple projects.
• Experience with various construction methods.
• Strong cost control, timing and quality management.
• Ability to read drawings and technical specs.

Responsibilities

• Price selected trades from first principles.
• Lead the supply chain enquiry process.
• Produce a detailed control document at handover to delivery team.
• Conduct take-offs and price movements up to SMM7.
• Lead and prepare the full commercial and pricing element of tenders and cost plans.
• Prepare whole life costing analyses.
• Prepare preconstruction waste management plans.
• Ensure bid processes reflect our customer-first ethos.
