Job summary

Sunblink in Kent is seeking an experienced Estimator for architectural metalwork to price and manage project estimates. The role requires strong construction knowledge, client liaison, and a proven ability to deliver timely, competitive quotes.

The ideal candidate will have a track record in metalwork or steelwork estimating, excellent time management, and negotiation skills to secure projects with contractors and designers. Salary ranges from £30,000 to £50,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience pricing projects in architectural metalwork or steelwork.
• Diligent and ambitious with a strong understanding of construction.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to deliver estimates promptly.
• Proven track record in similar roles.
• Excellent time management and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience interacting with clients and designers; negotiation skills valued.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Sales Director and own assigned estimate submissions.
• Manage client expectations and ensure timely delivery of all estimates.
• Attend estimating and pre-contract meetings as necessary.
• Lead handover meetings to production and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and consultants.
