Job summary

Ignite Talent Group Ltd is recruiting a Senior Estimator for a leading Tier 1 construction contractor in the North East. You will own major tenders, shape estimating strategy and work with regional leadership on growth and project acquisition.

The role offers London-style commercial exposure with £75,000-£85,000 salary, car allowance up to £7,500, 10% bonus and 5% pension, plus benefits as the North East operation scales up.

Qualifications

• Senior Estimator with main contractor experience.
• Experience pricing large-scale construction projects (£10m+).
• Strong understanding of subcontractor packages and supply chain procurement.
• Ability to analyse drawings and specifications to develop competitive tenders.

Responsibilities

• Lead major tenders and ownership of key bids.
• Help shape estimating function, supply chain strategy and pre-construction approach.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Pre-Construction, Design and Operations teams.
• Influence regional business strategy and SLT decisions.
