Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Associate Director / Estimating Manager to lead estimating service delivery across feasibility through detailed design for infrastructure, transport and energy projects in the UK. You'll guide bids, develop a high-performing team, and ensure high-quality client deliverables while leveraging benchmarking and market data.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Estimating, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction or equivalent.
Chartered membership or active progression toward RICS/ICE/AACE/ACostE or similar.
Strong understanding of contingency and risk allowances and their impact on costs.
Deep knowledge of indirect costs, cost breakdown structures and deliverability analysis.
Proven stakeholder engagement with designers, engineers, managers and clients.

Responsibilities

Lead estimating service delivery from feasibility to detailed design across multiple project types.
Support leadership in win work activities, bids and proposals to grow the portfolio.
Develop a high performing team and contribute to regional leadership.
Oversee take-offs and generate high-quality client outputs and basis-of-estimate reports.
Lead peer reviews and drive continuous improvement of outputs and methodologies.
Manage client communications and connect with wider Estimating & Cost Advisory leadership.
