Job summary

Eisai is seeking a Senior Estates Engineer for its EKC facility in Hatfield. You will supervise a team responsible for the reliable operation of site-wide mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring GMP compliance and efficient maintenance programs.

You will coordinate with engineering and operations, manage external contractors, and drive continuous improvement in maintenance practices while supporting energy efficiency initiatives.

Qualifications

• Supervised a team of engineers or technicians.
• Deep knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and regulatory requirements.
• Experience using CMMS to raise corrective work orders and locate spares.
• Able to interpret technical drawings, schematics and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of site-wide mechanical and electrical systems at the EKC facility.
• Lead utility engineering team and subcontractors; schedule work and provide guidance.
• Ensure GMP compliance, regulatory requirements and SOP adherence.
• Review and approve maintenance procedures, permits and documentation.
• Plan maintenance shutdowns, upgrades and installations with stakeholders.
• Be an Approved Person for Electrical HV/LV and / or Mechanical Pressure Systems.
