Job summary

Eisai is seeking a Senior Estates Engineer to lead the site-wide Building and Utility Services at the EKC Hatfield facility. You will supervise a team of engineers, ensure GMP compliant maintenance, and optimise reliability of mechanical and electrical systems including HVAC and BMS.

Reporting to Engineering Manager, you will manage planned and reactive maintenance, coordinate contractors, review procedures, and drive continuous improvement while promoting safety and regulatory compliance across

Qualifications

Experience supervising engineers or technicians in GMP settings.
Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
Contract management and risk assessment updates.
Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and regulatory requirements.
Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee maintenance and repair of site-wide mechanical and electrical equipment.
Lead the utility engineering team and coordinate subcontractors.
Ensure GMP compliance, approvals, and maintenance documents.
Review and optimize CMMS for maintenance planning.
Plan shutdowns and upgrades with stakeholders.
Manage budgets and asset spares.
On-call rotation responsibility.
