Morson Edge is recruiting an experienced ESG Reporting Lead to support the Annual Report team during a key reporting cycle. The role focuses on drafting, coordinating and validating the Responsible Business/ESG section of the Annual Report, ensuring accuracy and evidencing disclosures.

This senior contract role will work with senior stakeholders to deliver high‑quality ESG content within the established timetable.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in ESG and sustainability reporting.
• Experience delivering Annual Reports for complex listed organisations.
• Strong understanding of UK sustainability reporting requirements.
• Experience coordinating reporting with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience responding to audit queries and validating disclosures.
• Excellent drafting, editing and proofreading skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the ESG/Responsible Business reporting process for the Annual Report.
• Draft, review and validate ESG and sustainability disclosures.
• Ensure content meets UK reporting and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate inputs, deadlines and approvals with the Annual Report team.
• Support copyediting, proofreading and final review of content.
• Respond to audit queries related to ESG disclosures.
• Manage stakeholder queries and follow up on actions.
• Coordinate validation of internal ESG reporting information.
• Support validation of the TCFD report and responses.
• Work with internal stakeholders to obtain and validate information.
• Ensure evidence is available for reported disclosures.
• Identify and resolve gaps within ESG reporting.
• Help manage the reporting timetable to meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with the Manager, Analyst and Director.
